Still needed suggestions

Here you find the list of countries for which I still need suggestions. I am constantly looking for books myself, but if you happen to know a great author from any of the countries below, let me know! 🙂 Recommendations on other books than those on my list are welcome, too. 1. Czech Republic – Paul Leppin “Severin’s Journey into the Dark”
    Iceland – Halldor Laxness – “Iceland’s Bell”
Canada – Margaret Atwood “Cat’s Eye”

You might want to do an internet search for countries/writers. For example: Vanuatu author.

    • Thanks for the suggestions! Leppin sounds really promising!
The research I did right now was more or less concentrated on the countries I planned to read next, so I guess it’s because of that it’s still a very empty list… Usually people from each country also have a better idea of what might be nice to read.

  2. Thanks for commenting on my blog. There’s lots of books on Australia worth reading. I just read “Three Dog Night” by Peter Goldsworthy which kind of gives an interesting insight into Australian and Aboriginal relationships.

I’ve never read it but “The Secret River” by Kate Grenville is supposed to be brilliant.

    There’s hundreds of others though.

    • Thanks so much for the suggestions! It’s quite hard to decide when a country has many great authors/books but I will take a closer look at the ones you recommended! 🙂
